August 2019 Rule Changes as voted by your club.

Click on the link below to find out the latest rule changes submitted and the subsequent results. 2019 Aug Rule change RESULTS for Clubs Please be reminded that it is not the AIDKA Executive that have made any decisions – the votes have come completely from 18 x AIDKA clubs. So, if you are not happy with the results, please consult with your club to see how they voted. Every AIDKA member has a right to have input into rules and regulations. To be a part of this, you must contact your club and be involved in the decision making process of when rule change submissions come through. Generally after every AIDKA Council meeting every club will have a list of Rule Changes that need to be discussed with their members. There is a 28 day window for clubs to distribute and discuss the proposed rule changes with their members and then each club sends though an email vote for each submission. KT 100 S clarification

Question: Can you anodise a KT 100 S cylinder head?  The clarification from the  AIDKA Technical committee is: Anodised cylinder heads are NOT allowed on KT 100 S engines.  Effective: 1st May 2019   Clarification of Rule: 11.3.1 KT 100 S specifications, Single KT 100S Piston Port Engine only as manufactured by Yamaha with standard external appearance( no left hand conversions) from carburetor inlet to barrel exhaust outlet. Piston port engine must retain piston induction ( no reed or rotary induction allowed). External modifications which do not in any way affect a performance gain are legal.  Maximum piston diameter is 55.0 mm. The use of thermal barrier coatings on or in the engine / engine components and, on or in exhaust components is prohibited.   Drivers Renewing their Licence For those who wish to renew their drivers licence from last year, here are the steps required.  All the information collected will be used to assist you during the year with title nominations, and future web base enhancements. You will need to have the following: – a valid email address – your current licence number – current ambulance cover – a credit card or paypal account – if you are applying for a higher licence grade, you will need a copy of last years endorsements for your upgrade – Please supply a new photo in jpeg format Click on the ‘Licence’ tab and fill in the required information. If you have made an omission or error, the error will be highlighted in red and need to be fixed before you can proceed.  Once you have successfully completed the form, and made your payment you will receive an  email with all your licence details.  If you see any errors in the form you will need to email the licence secretary for this to be fixed. Your licence is now complete but will not be activated until you have applied for and paid your nominated club membership.  Please visit your club’s website for membership details.   Your club will notify AIDKA once the club membership fees have been paid so they can complete the licence process.
