The main event on the 2024 AIDKA Calendar is almost here, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone at Lucindale Karting Club. In a little over a week, it will be all systems go for the biggest karting weekend of the year. Please see the below video demonstrating the correct way to fit an engine seal. Engine sealDownload As you will see in the demonstration, when threading the wire through the locking mechanism, it is important NOT to pull the seal tight (like you would a cable tie). You should be able to put a finger through the middle of the seal gap. The seal should be relatively loose fitting with 10 -15mm of cable left after trimming the excess.  If you have any questions or are unsure how to correctly fit a seal, please speak to one of the AIDKA Scrutineers or a member of the AIDKA Technical Committee at the event you are attending.  Information can also be found in Appendix F of the AIDKA Rule...

The 2024 Australian Dirt Kart Title will be held from Friday 4th October to Sunday 6th October 2024. Please see the Prospectus for all the event information. To nominate go to the Race Calendar on your AIDKA App or via the following link  https://app.aidka.com.au/dk/#/calendar Appendix A Rules 1 & 2 in the 2024 AIDKA Rulebook explains the qualification requirements to nominate for a Title. Please read these rules and ensure you fulfill the requirements PRIOR to nominating. To prove qualification please provide a copy of your Logbook. Depending on how much racing you have done in this year, you may need to supply the 2023 and 2024 logbooks to prove qualification. We need to see the Logbook page. What a weekend. The final numbers where 467 nominations plus 19 Rookie Competitors which made an amazing title. CONGRATULATIONS to the Tatiara Karting Club for a very well organised meeting. A huge THANK YOU to all the officials and volunteers! We appreciate the time and effort you put into running this event! Simply put we cannot run these events without you. Finally, CONGRATULATIONS to all the competitors especially those who manage to be standing on the podium at the completion of the weekend.
