Location: Adelaide Dirt Kart Club, Supple Road, Virginia. South Australia.

Track Specs: 361m in length

Race Format: Each driver shall contest four [4] heats drawn as per quick grid i.e. “front, rear, middle, middle”. These heats will be contested over eight [8] laps per heat. The points from these heats will then be added up to determine the highest to lowest point scorers.

The TOP SIX [6] point scorers for each class will then transfer to a four [4] lap DASH [highest point scorer starts from pole, 2nd highest from 2 and so on]. The finishing positions in this race will then determine the top six starting positions for the A MAIN.

There will be a B MAIN run over six [6] laps for the positions 7th to 27th. The finishing top fourteen [14] karts in the B MAIN, will then determine the positions from 7th through to 20th in the A MAIN.

In classes with less than twelve [12] karts there won’t be a B MAIN but the top six [6] highest point scorers will still contest a four [4] lap DASH to determine final starting positions for the A MAIN.

The A MAIN will be contested over twelve [12] laps. The grid positions will be made up of the finishing order of the DASH and B MAIN to a maximum of twenty [20] karts.

This is a WINNER take all format the first three [3] karts across the line are determined to be the winners not total points. [Subject to Stewards discretion] In the A MAIN , B MAIN and DASH races as no points are on offer, the CHIEF STEWARD has the right to send any driver that he / she determines has conducted themselves outside the rules of racing BACK as many positions as they see fit. ie 5 point penalty may = 2 positions back, 10 point penalty may = 4 positions back and so on as to the CHIEF STEWARDS DISCRETION.

Any P platers that qualify for the A MAIN will start from the rear. All classes with more than twenty [20] karts will run a split field with the top twenty seven [27] karts progressing to the finals only.

Racing in both directions – tracked graded and/or watered as deemed necessary by Track maintenance manager & steward.

Four [4] heats will be run on Saturday and the Dash, B MAIN and A MAIN will be run on Sunday.

Points: AIDKA 20 Point System will be used in first 4 heats only.

Classes: A minimum of 8 constitutes a genuine class. Junior Light, Junior Heavy, J Open, KT Light, KT Medium,KT Heavy, Statesman, KT Twin, 125cc Light, 125cc Heavy,100cc Open,200cc Open and Outlaws.

Rookies will be a demonstration class only (6 lap heats x 4 Sat & x 2 Sun additional run/s if time permits).

COMPETITORS MUST COMPETE IN A MINIMUM OF THREE [3] HEATS TO QUALIFY FOR ANY OF THE FINALS OR DASHES ON SUNDAY.

Eligibility: Rule 1 “Appendix A” – P Platers may compete from rear of field.

Rules: AIDKA 2014/2015 Rule book applies to all Drivers’, Crew & officials.

Random Weighing of Karts will occur throughout the day as will engine checks, fuel testing & kart compliance.

Racing Numbers: National and South Australian plates are permitted. If two or more karts have the same number the ADKC members will have first priority. Drivers will be advised by telephone prior to the meeting if a new number is to be issued.

Facilities: Canteen and Bar facilities will be available.

NO CAMPING AVAILABLE ON PREMISES.

Venue Entry: Entry is $5 per adult per day. Fourteen years and under free.

Pit Entry: Only licensed persons will be permitted entry into the pit area. Casual Pit licences of $10 for the weekend (2 days) are available at the track for each non licensed person.

AIDKA does not cover anyone for Ambulance travel so it is recommended that each competitor must have their own Ambulance Insurance as per your licence requirement. No

smoking in the pit area or infield areas. Armband must be worn and visible on entry or full entry costs will apply per day.

ADKC ACCEPTS NO LIABILITY FOR ANY UNFORSEEN LOSS OR DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR.

Special Conditions: Heat policy of 38° GPO will apply. Event may be rescheduled.
