Please be advised that the Rule Book has been updated effective 30th September 2024 with the below changes. Rule 8.13 – incorrectly referenced rule number 22.14 which is non-existent in current and previous versions of the Rule Book. Rule 8.13 has been updated to include the correct rule number reference. Rule 25.3 2(a) – incorrectly referenced Power Plus 98 in the Digatron Fuel Testing Procedure. In accordance with Fuel & Oil Rule Changes implemented 1st September 2023, disallowing the use of Power Plus 98, the reference to this fuel has been removed from Rule 25.3 2(a). Please note that the above changes are in purple text in the 2024 Rule Book (Version 30th September 2024). The main event on the 2024 AIDKA Calendar is almost here … the 2024 Australian Dirt Kart Titles hosted by Lucindale Karting Club. Please see the below video demonstrating the correct way to fit an engine seal. Engine sealDownload As you will see in the demonstration, when threading the wire through the locking mechanism, it is important NOT to pull the seal tight (like you would a cable tie). You should be able to put a finger through the middle of the seal gap. The seal should be relatively loose fitting with 10 -15mm of cable left after trimming the excess.  If you have any questions or are unsure how to correctly fit a seal, please speak to one of the AIDKA Scrutineers or a member of the AIDKA Technical Committee at the event you are attending.  Information can also be found in Appendix F of the AIDKA Rule...
