• 4^th and 5^th of September 2015 (6^th September Rain Day)

Track Specifications:

• 590 metres in length
• 10 metres minimum width
• Max 20 karts to start race
• Race in both directions

• Rookies – $15.00

• Heat 1 (6 laps) – Counter clockwise
• Heat 2 (6 laps) – Clockwise

Saturday 5^th September

• Heat 3 (6 laps) – Counter Clockwise
• Heat 4 (6 laps) – Clockwise
• Rookie Demonstration
• Winner Takes All Final (6 laps)

Sunday 6^th September

• Presentation Dinner

Scrutineering:

• As per AIDKA 2015 Rule Book
• All karts will be scrutineered prior to practice/racing on Friday 4^th of September
• All drivers must complete the seal number scrutineering form and fit chassis and engine seals prior to presenting their kart for scrutineering
• Chassis or engine seals from previous title events may be used if still fitted to the satisfaction of the scrutineers

Points system:

 20 point system to be used

• Quick Grid to be used to calculate placing’s and grid draw
• Final positions to be contested over 4 heats and final

Transponders:

Transponders will be used at this event.

• It is the driver’s responsibility to ensure transponders are fitted.
• NO transponder – NO points.
• Transponders are programmed to driver’s licence number, and cannot be swapped between drivers.

Class Requirements

A min of 8 genuine nominations will constitute a class as per rule 5 of appendix A of the current 2015 rule book.

Eligibility of Competitors:

• As per Rule 1 appendix ‘A’ Non-qualified drivers shall be allowed to start at the rear

Track Facilities:

• Of the field
• Weipa Dirt Kart Club Canteen will be open on each race day one hour prior to race start. Canteen will be serving hot and cold food and drinks. Bacon and egg breakfast will be available on Sunday morning. Liquor:
• The bar will open from one hour prior to race start on each day. Under no circumstances will BYO or glass be allowed onto WMA property.

Pit Area:

Only licenced competitors, Pit crew, officials and casual pit pass applicants, who are wearing arm bands, will be allowed into the pit area.

Casual Pit Passes:

Non AIDKA licenced personnel wishing to enter the pit area may do so through purchasing a casual pit pass and arm band, Casual pit passes and arm bands will be available from the canteen for $5.00 each per day.

Release and Waiver Form:

• The release and waiver form must be signed by all persons entering the pit area and/or competing in the event. Car Parking:
• No cars in pit area, parking provided to the south side of speedway complex. Pit Allocation:
• WDK members have first preference for pit allocation
• Pitting from trailers will be permitted in designated areasFootwear:
• Fully enclosed footwear is to be worn at all times in the pit areas, as per rule book. Alcohol and Smoking:
• Under no circumstances will alcohol, smoking or drugs be permitted in the pit or track area.

Racing Numbers:

All numbers are to be clear and visible prior to a race. National plates will be permitted at this event. Confirmation of kart numbers will be advised on the AIDKA web site once nominations close. Host club drivers will be given priority of race numbers, in the event of two or more non-Weipa members requesting the same number; the lowest licence number holder will be given 1st preference. Plates are to be displayed on karts as per rule book.

Gate Fee (competitors):

• A gate fee of a Gold Coin Donation per car each day will apply. (All money raised to a local charity)
