This years Australian Title will be held at the Loxton Dirt Kart Club on the October Long Weekend.  Accommodation on this long weekend will fill up fast so it is recommended that you get in quick and book your rooms.  Racing is October 3rd – 5th with Monday the 6th set as a rain date.

As of 1st February 2014 the new “Midget” class will be eligible to participate at AIDKA race meetings and education days.  Clubs will have the option to run the class as a full class, allowing drivers a session each round or just allow them out on the track at scheduled times, i.e start of the day, lunch break or at the end of the day.  This will vary from club to club depending on time restrictions so please contact your local club regarding this class.  Karts and engines must comply to the following rules and must be tagged with a “Midget” seal to be eligible for use.  These will be fitted by the clubs scrutineers during regular scrutineering at the start of the day.  For any more information please contact AIDKA or your local club.     Children aged 5 -7 years- Demonstration- training class only CLASS SPECIFICATIONS Engine: Honda GX35, unmodified, must be fitted with a kill switch located on the steering wheel. Chassis: Steel or chrome-moly tubing, must be midget chassis registration seal affixed to the main chassis rail of the kart.
